For many years, tens of thousands of people have chosen Daily Bread because it tastes great, it is easy to prepare, it is convenient to store and has a 25-year shelf-life.

How are the entrées packaged?

The entrées in our 90-day, 6-month and 1-year meal plans come in #10 cans. The entrées in our 25-day bucket meal plans and backpacks come in pouches.

How do I know that the food will last for 25 years?

Studies have shown that freeze-dried food stored in a cool, dry place retains its taste, for 25 years.

How long does it take for my food storage to be delivered?

Your Daily Bread products should ship within 72 hours of placing the order.

How are my products shipped?

All orders are shipped via UPS. Standard shipping rates will apply for ALL orders to residents of Alaska or Hawaii.

Will I be notified about my order delivery?

You will receive an email with a UPS tracking number once your order has shipped. You should expect an automated phone call on the day of delivery.

What is your return policy?

We appreciate your business and value your time. We have many satisfied customers all over the country and want you to be completely satisfied, so we make it easy for you to return any order for any reason. Upon receiving your order, be sure to inspect all products for damage or discrepancies. If for any reason, you are not satisfied with your order, simply follow the steps below to return your product and receive a refund or replacement item.

Damaged or defective items that are returned within 30-days of the original order date will be fully refunded or replaced absolutely free of charge. For returns or refusals made within 30-days of the original order date for any reason other than being damaged or defective items, the customer is responsible for shipping the items back to Daily Bread. Once the product is received by Daily Bread, the customer will be refunded the full order amount less a 15% restocking fee. All sales are final after 30-days from original order date.

To return a product, simply follow the steps below:

  1. Before returning any items, call our customer service number at 1-866-488-3237 to get a Return Authorization Number. Every order that is returned to us or refused by the customer must have an R.A. number in order to be processed and be accepted.
  2. Ensure that the items are repackaged in their original boxes and are in original condition.
  3. Ship the items back to Daily Bread via UPS, U.S. Mail, FedEx or another common carrier. If the items are damaged or defective, Daily Bread will cover the cost of return shipping and have UPS pick them up from your house if you choose.
  4. After receiving the items at Daily Bread, we will then either issue a refund (in the same form as originally paid) for the full order amount less a 15% restocking fee (if returned within 30 days and for any other reason than damaged or defective items), or send a replacement item.

Where should I store my Daily Bread products?

We strongly recommend storing the food in a cool dry place. For optimal shelf-life, store food at 70 degrees or below. Many of our customers who do not have basements store Daily Bread foods under beds and in closets.

Optimal storage temperatures for Emergency Reserve are between 50 and 55 degrees Fahrenheit.

Do you have vegetarian entrées and products?

Yes. We currently offer a vegetarian build your own supply. Additionally, the meals contained in our Emergency Reserve bucket plans are also vegetarian.

Do you offer any gluten free products?

Yes. We offer a 90-day gluten free meal plan for 2 adults. Also, all of the milk, meats, vegetables and fruits listed on the à la carte page are gluten free.

How long does the food last once the can is opened?

Each item is different. Some items, like granola, may last several months after being opened. Most of the cans suggest that the food be consumed within seven days, but our producers have told us that as long as the cans are stored in a dry, cool place, all of the foods should stay fresh for several weeks.
